# Software Radio for Beam Excitation

Signal generation for transverse beam excitation via a [Software-Driven Radio](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Software-defined_radio). Implemented using the [GNU Radio toolkit](https://www.gnuradio.org/).

This repository contains the software, firmware and documentation to turn a [Software Defined Radio](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Software-defined_radio) (SDR) such as the Ettus [USRP X310](https://www.ettus.com/all-products/x310-kit) into a ready-to-use beam excitation system. Implemented using [GNU Radio](https://www.gnuradio.org/) and [RFNoC](https://www.ettus.com/sdr-software/rfnoc/).
